Rules/Guidelines
I don't want to make things too strict but it's probably best to have a few basic guidelines made clear

  • Create a thread for people to ask you to review your maps, you can see some examples here: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/groups/P2MTI/discussions/0/619568074731875967/ and here: http://gtm.steamproxy.vip/groups/P2MTI/discussions/0/616189743035851241/
  • Select one of your maps that you'd most appreciate some feedback on and post it in one or more of the testing threads.
  • Don't post maps in the same persons thread more than once a week without their permission
  • Don't post maps in a thread where there is still a map pending review, wait for the member to post that they have done that map and are ready for another
  • Make sure you have a thread ready for reviewing other peoples maps before you start asking them to review yours. It's important to have some give and take
  • It's preferable to post reviews on the comments page of the test chambers themselves unless you have specific reasons for wanting to keep the comments private
  • Be polite. Criticism is fine, but keep it constructive and non-personal
  • Be honest. This group is intended for genuine reviews and constructive criticisms not to give false assurances and ego boosts
  • Don't take criticisms personally. They're not meant to hurt or insult, but to help improve
  • Don't be afraid to ask for help. This group isn't for learning how to build chambers but group members may still be able to offer some advice or point you to where you can find help if you ask sensibly and politely

If you have any comments, questions or suggestions concerning these or other rules then please post a reply to the thread

Just a thought but maybe we need a 'getting started' section on the overview(front) page, with links to this thread and links to the forum room. Something similar to what I wrote for ScientistRaperGirl, a short summery on how to use this group. Also maybe write something to ask people to be active, because active members make the group better, and if the group is better more people are likely to join
