PeTI M09`15: Fourth Symmetry (Won by:Greykarel)
Current stage: The competition is over

This Monthly challenge
This challenge was submitted by: josepezdj
The idea for this challenge is to do the following:
- Make your chamber so it's more or less square shaped and it has 4 rooms or areas, one at each of the chamber's corners.
- Separate them physically by goo, drawing a cross shaped pool.
- But not just that, use whatever other 'separating element' like fizzlers, glass, grates, etc to separate the 4 areas a bit more (note that it's not mandatory that all of the areas contain the fizzlers, or other separators, that will be up to the puzzlemaker).
- All areas must be involved in the puzzle though so there must be any mechanic that makes possible to go from one to other, but 'the how' will be up to you.
- Use whatever puzzle element and in whatever amount.
- The player can start from whatever area and the exit door can be in whatever area.

And we have a winner!

Greykarel won this competition...
...with a nice total score of 6 points.

This weeks runner ups are: josepezdj who came second with 5 points, and RectorRocks who came third also with 5 points but with less 2nd place votes.

Greykarel, you are entitled to give us the next weeks challenge. Can you reply here before the end of this month GMT +0, and tell us what you'd like to see in the next

It's been awhile, so I made a simple chamber to contrast the usually difficult ones. :-)

Sorry guys, I completely forgot to alter the topic. Voting started the 1st of course and even if a topic was not yet altered, you may always vote by posting here.

Wow, really tough choices. Great job everyone!

1. Cryptosporidiosis

2. laila tov

3. Orange Ride

-------------------------------------------------
Double Elevator & Watercross were part of running for me as well. All the maps were very creative. If Islands in the Storm wasn't so massive it would have had a spot. I loved the puzzles, but large maps (as you know) where you can't really see everything is such a niche. Had great fun in it though. A Basic Turret Problem was really good as well.

Honestly, I'm still having trouble at this moment on keeping what I have listed. Tough one.
OK, sticking with what I have. FIN.

I agree this is a tough choice. But if you were to put a turret to my head my choices would have to be:

1) laila tov

2) Orange Ride

3) Cryptosporidiosis

Lots of fun playing all the puzzles!

Very good puzzles everyone! Besides those 3 on the list, I really liked Desperate Waters and A Basic Turret Problem the most, very clever use of the puzzlemaker elements to get some good mechanics/mechanisms and really nice puzzles!

Cheers!
