Yeah, I’ll leave astats really soon for that reason. I have a pending giveaway there and leaving now will be unpolite. Using game bugs and autoclickers is much worse than fixing games. I also hate being dictated etc, but I really don’t want to lose friends I found through 100pAG and 100Pals.

I'm not saying anyone should leave or shouldn't join the group, it just makes me laugh that they use 3rd party programs and then expect other users to be naive about it.

!!!WARNING!!! YOU'LL HAVE A RISK OF GETTING INVALIDATED ON ASTATS FOR DOING THIS TRICK. MAY ALSO LOSE YOUR REPUTATION AMONG ASTATS USERS.

[0).If you see those games as completed in your library (e.g.19/19 for Beast Blaster), move appcache folder from C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam somewhere else to let Steam update the info about those games.]

1).Get "The First Spark" game. (The Last Photon should work fine as well).
2).Download both "The First Spark" and one of the 6 broken games.
3).Go to their locations, rename "The First Spark.exe" and "The First Spark_data" to the names of similar files in the game you want to fix. Rename the ".exe" and "_data" of the game you want to fix to something random to be able to paste all "The First Spark" files correctly.
4).Copypaste those renamed 2 files from "The First Spark" in the folder of the game you want to fix.
5).The .exe file should change its icon now. Open the game you want to fix.

VERY IMPORTANT!!! Go to the registry of "The First Spark" and remove everything there to make the stats clean and to prevent getting all the achievements at once.
(Win+R --> type "regedit" --> find "The First Spark" folder, it should be in HKEY_CURRENT_USER-->SOFTWARE-->Silicon Echo-->The First Spark)

6).You'll start getting achievements after dying 10 times in a row.

Repeat this for every broken game stated in my first post and don't forget to clean the registry every time before starting another fixed game.

P.S. I'm not the person who found the method. Have fun and get rid of these brokens

Agree. It's very similar to the fix[www.astats.nl] for Achievement hunter games which they DID allow so yea. I will wait though.

It's actually not similar to the achievement hunter games in how it ends up working - that's why both AStats and 100Pals have clearly declared it as not allowed for the time being.

Using this "method" doesn't just invalidate a couple games for you - it will basically bring your entire achievement hunting career under scrutiny and you will be treated as a partial cheater by all official stations in the Steam achievement hunting world.

This is NOT a fix for AGC, this is NOT a fix for "OCD" - this is going to make many naive/ignorant/newer/uninformed hunters "damaged goods" with a lot of strange guilt to deal with if they continue on as achievement hunters because they are going to be seen as having cheated and being invalidated.

I know this stuff is all a tough decision but I'm not making it myself and Light is not able to make it himself. I had to put this issue and this "method" to the community staff in general, in a democratic way and these rulings are the result.

Light was directly told to not use this method and then was directly told to not spread this method, so he is now being banned from the legitimate achievement hunting community. VERY plain and clear warning to any other user who opts to cheat via the above method at this time.

How many hours in 2 weeks? Seems like there is a use of a nefarious means to farm things with programs not strictly sanctioned by Valve. Pot. Kettle. Black.
