Pacemaker status [SPOILERS!]
I was wondering... Was there a possibility to actually save the guy?
And one more question - what would happen if you had answered differently about the pacemaker status in the end? (not 'dead' but 'alive').
Any explanations? Anybody tried it?

I just tried "alive" and it says mission incomplete. So I guess he's dead for sure.
