Tile info not showing on Mac
I don't know if this is a mac issue or its just me. When I hover my mouse over tiles the info of the tiles for example the type of terrain etc does not show up after this mod is enabled. Is anyone facing the same problem?

I have the same problem, I've narrowed it down to this mod, and playing on standard maps.

I have the same problem on Windows

It's the same problem and reason as the Linux bug of file capitalization. See the post on the Linux bug.

Not trying to be a pest, but, same thing here.

Same thing for me and my Windows teammate.

Most recent version of this mod contains handler for calculating river floodplains. This functionality seems to fail on vanilla. You can try disabling it in modinfo file.

To do so, open "Sukritact's Simple UI Adjustments.modinfo" for edit. Then find and remove the following section (should be lines 125-131):

<ReplaceUIScript id="ReplacePlotTooltip"> <Properties> <LoadOrder>201</LoadOrder> <LuaReplace>UI/Common/Suk_PlotTooltips.lua</LuaReplace> <LuaContext>PlotToolTip</LuaContext> </Properties> </ReplaceUIScript>

Disable the Steam Overlay , may fix that as read from internet sources if text related missing or other.
Open the Steam client and navigate to the Steam > Settings/Preferences > In-game tab. Uncheck the box next to Enable the Steam Overlay while in-game.
Steam FPs(fraps) may affect too if on.
Not sure if gonna help but no problems on my end, something better then nothing

This actually works perfectly on windows. Thanks for posting. I really missed the tooltip popping up

Thanks so much! This worked for me, and I am on Mac

So this won't be an issue if I play with the latest DLCs?

I thought I'd play mt first attempt with the standard rules and am not getting the tile tooltip so came looking for an answer.

Many thanks for this info, Aiur. Removing those lines returned the tool tip for me, too (Windows, Civ6 Platinum Edition). :-)

This worked for me. Editing the modinfo did not.

That’s strange, those solutions don’t work for me either =(
Is there anything else in the mod that manage said tooltips ?
I wish the mode was more modular… Thanks for the thread anyway !

Edit :
I now have the full game and it works ! So I presume it’s just screwed for the base game.
