I know this discussion is old but i have an idea or this weapon. So this weapon sprays deadly gas like the flame thrower except pyro is immune to it and you can't kill him with it (because Pyro wears a gas mask all the time) and gas mask is used to protect of course smokes, poisonous air and yeah yeah you get the point, hows that?

Well if this is a Gas Wepon theres a Issue.
The Gases of WW1- Clorine gas and Mustardgas Both were either launched by artillery or by Drums on the ground, not by a Flame thrower.

If this is a Poisonus Gas you must you Mustard Gas and *WARNING THE EFFECTS ARE GRUSOM AF*

Clorine Gas when it enters your lungs your lungs fill with a liquid and you slowly choke to death.

Mustard *Recomended* is worse and is Painful AF.
When Mustard Gas Touches Organic substances it burns them, and that would mean One Little Puff of the Gas would burn the player Untill they die *But the Damage Rate is like 1-2 Per second*
Mustard would be OP for a Hit and Run Tatic.
the Sid Efect's would be it being Uncontrolable, Since it would Disapear after about 20 Seconds going randomly around *Unless Inside* Also the Mustard Gas was Found to Help Cancer and Gave Birth to Chemotherapy. Lastly it also would have 30 Seconds of full Gassing per tank.
