Right now the phoenix is not working due to wildcard changing its code and not updating the Devkit.

I take it the Phoenix is still bugged. Set alter, it shows 5 in spawn area but none to be seen.
Running the Center map.

You using classic flyers or extinction core mods?

Classic flyers.
Not an issue for me or my players tho. just thought i would mention it.

anyone know if this is fixed yet, we just found out that ours doesnt spawn them anymore either. It did work before though.

It's not fixed yet, the method for forcing the phoenix to be visible is very unreliable. I may overwrite the phoenix with a custom one that is exactly the same besides the visibility issues, and when it gets tamed will switch to the vanilla or CF phoenix.

Just out of curiosity, what is the method to make them visible?

There is a variable in the phoenix's code called "Debug Dont Hide Phoenix" which I set to true and then i call an event in the code that does the spawn animation and other initial spawn stuff. But for some reason it doesn't always work. Also without the superheat from the SE map, some of the phoenix's other functions don't work.

So in fact there is no fast way to repair this bug?

I will figure out a way to bypass all the things that make the phoenix invisible when I have time. I have been spending most of the little time I have to mod finishing up a major feature update to my other mod simple spawners, then I will start working on this issue.

One last question, is there a way to spawn a heatwave on rag?

@darklore if we spawn a heat wave will the phoenix become visible ? if so will it remain visible ?

The code in the phoenix specifically references the Scorched Earth Day Cycle Manager. Other maps don't have this unless the maker of the map puts it in, and doing that might cause issues with the weather in the map and all sorts of other reference issues.
