Useful Information about these Mini-Bosses
The Platinum Dodo is created for people who want a little bit less of a grind before entering the Arena, so for that I created this Miniboss with its own Custom loot based of the items needed to enter the arena, there's a small chance of not getting any loot but most of the time you will get some sweet Apex items, as far as its stats goes, it has 3.500.000 Health, Medium Torpor damage but still pretty deadly against low-end dino's so be carefull, it can shoot TEK lasers too sometimes

A mini-boss with 25.000.000 health X_x That's 5 Hard Broodmothers worth of hp.
You made it to make the game less grindy to get in the arenas but having to find this and deal with all its health and damage would take longer than running around, killing Rexes, Argents, Brontos and Megalodons(and Tusos, for the few tentacles you need overall).
I would suggest more damage and a lot less health. Make it dangerous. Not dangerous AND a huge time investment to kill. More damage would make you want to be careful, doing Rhino drivebys and running off or shooting from a distance. Anything from turning it into another Broodmother left-click spam fest :(

Btw, does it contain the new rewards from all Alpha creatures too?

Just a bit of feedback. I wish ARK had mini-bosses which would spawn a bit more often, especially by the Artifacts. At the end of a dungeon should be a challenge(maybe a new mini-boss mod idea?).
I rarely see any Alphas these days :(

As of now the Platinum Dodo's are really hard to scale for both Vanilla (isch) server and (heavily) Modded server, on my server where I use this mod the health on them is fine, but I can understand that other servers are struggling for the amount of time it may take to find/kill it for a random set % chance on getting loot, this is also my 1st mod I ever created and worked on so ofcourse I still have to tweak it around alot, as for how powerful they are currently they felt strong for us personally, because of the Torpor attack its a more dangerous task to provoken one.

What I personally suggest you doing is either wait a few days till I push oit next update or change the Platinum Dodo resistance multiplier much higher to do way more damage to it, same goes for the damage multipliers to either buff/nerf the damage its doing.

As far as extra challenges go for example the caves, theres deffintely are possibilty to create something like a end boss in each cave, but to make sure it all works fine and always respawn on the same spot isnt gonna be a easy task to implement, as of now im working on another modpack with something more challenging on the map, that might be something nice for you to look forward to.

The Platinum Dodo's currently dont drop the Alpha loot cause in my opinion these MiniBosses were only intended to drop the Apex drops (Rex Arms, Argy Talons and such)

I understand the problem between heavily modded servers and vanilla. It's tough to keep a balance for a mod in the middle of both versions.

Can't wait to hear what you've got in store with new challenges.

Alright, good good. Was just wondering since the mod got updated after the ARK update. Alpha stuff should kept for Alphas so they still have a purpose.

I've been with ARK since the EA launch so don't worry. Change during development is nothing new :D
