What exactly do you mean by E2 controls the torso movement? Is it WASD controls for the mech? I'm fairly new to this mod so I don't know what you mean.
Basically the guy who made SLVbase npcs was a bad coder and tries to override the functions of every entity in the game instead of just the one he needed to which breaks the wiremod Camera Controllers, making it impossible for you to torso twist, as the torso uses the camera controllers to see where you are looking then turn that way.
Also what I mean by the E2 controlling the torso movement is that in wiremod E2s are little computer chips that contain and run code. The Urbanmech uses them to control the camera and torso and gun movements.
If the NPC pack openly states it has SLVbase then that would be the first to target, otherwise gmod does have an enable and disable addon button ingame if you click the addons button on the main menu. You could use that to disable without unsubscribing, though you'd likely have to disable it before loading a map for it to take effect.
