you could make differnt methods of extermanatis.
One could be a planet terraform while the enemies still on it
For synths they coul release a nanobot swarm. could convert pops into AI armies
Gene empiers could do a virus bomb that converts the pops into xeno armies or wipes it out
Psy could mind wipe the world in to slavery kill them or make an army
thier could be an option to crack the planet and harvest it

good ideas ty, they shouldn't be too hard to implement :)

To add onto Ragnok
Maybe some chemical weapons that can have a lasting effect like decreased birth rate and happiness? Also is there a way to make it so that Nuking or Exterminating a planet counts for warscore?

The warscore thing is something I'm currently on. This is a bit difficult because of balancing.

Perhaps something that turns the planet into a glassed planet, that is still habitable but beneficial for Synths. Perhaps the planet becomes so irradiated, synths love it? :D

Is it possible to have more dynamic diplomacy fallouts?

For example, I turned a colony of the galaxy's resident Fanatical Purifiers into a nuclear wasteland and people started hating on me. Is it possible that people could look the other way if such a thing happens? Except maybe some kinda pacifistic fanatical xenophile.

@Thjalfi What whould be a balanced hate system for a feature that allows you to eredicate the entire galaxy? :steammocking:

I initially used the opinion modifier you'll get if you purge pops. That was too heavy so I divded it by ten. That was too low, the current hate is the balance try of it. I think I'm to uncreative for this task, but maybe you or someone else could advice a better middle for that?

What about stacking it? Each time you exterminatus, it becomes more. accumulative = yes or something.

That is the current state of implementation. Each time you call the exterminatus (or nuke) by bombardment everyone will get -100 opinion from you. It decreases over time. If not, then I should fix it soon ^^

I have only attempted it once. :P I am only using it on empires that... really deserve it.

I feel it would make more sense that extermination not just be opened for militarists. This means that egalitarian militarist xenophiles couldn't obliterate an entire planet whenever they wanted to, which I don't think really makes much sense. I think the policy should have levels. First you have it completely disallowed. Then you have xenos only, which is available for non-pacifist xenophobes. Then you have other nations only, which is only available only for fanatic militarist non-xenophiles, and finally, you have completely open use of planetary extermination, which is only available for people who have both militarist and authoritarian ethos who are not xenophiles.

just wondering if you'd be willing to make the nuking take some time, i.e. special project requiring ships.
It's currently a bit too benefitial to just nuke systems instead of invading them and then cleansing them.

robots shouldn't die unless you glass a planet. robots aren't weak like the rest of flesh. even when our civilization becomes star dust. the robots will be there. because robots are immortal. but decolonize? yes. ♥♥♥♥ them xenos.
