Where to go Next, Possibly...
[Trigger Warning!: I will be discussing stuff that may occur because of a mod conflict, stuff that may be the purpose of the mod, or otherwise that's my own fault. I will also address what could be looked into to help them "find de way".]

The Trigger Warning and a Dank Meme aside, here's my review:

I like some of the visuals within the mod, such as the unique menu (really seems to elaborate on the dark themes Binding of Isaac isn't afraid to "touch down" on), the new floors, and so on.

Items are mostly-unique, there's new "baddies" to fight, and it seems all good.

However, there's numerous issues with the mod that are driving others, and myself, insane...

Unkillable Bomb Poop?

This is probably caused by a conflict between Alphabirth's Bomb Dip and a trap added by Devil's Harvest,I do say "probably", so it could be that there's just an unkillable enemy that halts progress.

Chapter Overwriting?

This is a personal issue that could possibly just be my mod selection, however, I kind of doubt it.

This pack seems to overwrite the base chapters of the game to such an extent I never see them again, instead of actually adding new floors. This can kinda suck, as I like being able to encounter familiar sights in the game without having to uninstall mods (as there's a huge risk for the game to bug-out for good...).

I understand there's JUST NOW apparently an API for adding new floors, so I can forgive them for using what they had at the time. Although, I would recommend an update using this new API to add the chapters within this mod as actual floors instead of replacements for the vanilla chapters. (More on that later)

[That way, those who like "familiar" and "new" won't get "homesick", y'know?]

Buggy Items?

This is probably the worst offender of them all, but it could also just be a conflict, however, I still find a doubt in that...

Platinum Keys remove all my coins when picked up, and so do Silver Bombs. I know, for sure, this isn't intended behavior as the Wiki states nothing about these items inentionally removing all coinage from the player.

"The Game" pill seems to do nothing, despite showing on the wiki "You just lost the game", so if it spawned hostile spiders or something, it would make more sense for it to have the description...

The "Lay on Hands" pill, I don't remember perfectly well, but I do think I remember it giving the health, but not the 1 item pedestal mentioned on the wiki.

That sums up one of my bigger complaints...

Miscellaneous issues?

This could only apply to me, or it can apply to many, but these are a few little things that "urked" me about the mod...

- Sound effects from various new enemies:

Some enemies make a deep pulsing sound effect (best I can explain it) that doesn't seem "entirely reasonable" for the enermy to make...

I think a few of the base sounds in the game would have sufficed instead of the pulsing sound, but that might just be myself and my sensitive ears talking as the sounds also kinda "rattled my eardrums". You'll do you, but that's my opinion on the sound effect...

- Crate of Friends

Not a huge fan of the crazy meme-esque noises going through my headset every time I fire after using the item.

That may be just me, though.

- Rocks

Sometimes the rocks from earlier chapters wouldn't change over for later chapters, it's harmless to gameplay, but it can be an "eye-sore" in terms of aethetics.

- Missing Texture

I intentionally saved this issue for my last entry as it's possibly a "well DUH moment" for the Devs.

Nonetheless, I think it would have made more sense to transform Isaac into a Purple and Black checkered model than to completely remove his model.

That way, we don't have to rely on orbitals or a sometimes-hard-to-see shadow on the floor to see him, y'know?

Of course we could always avoid the item or reroll it, however, it's rare to encounter pedestal re-rolls (as least for me) and since it's a passive item, it's tempting to take the item when you could use the extra stats, especially if you're just starting the run and it's the first item you encounter (which happened 2 times, back-to-back).

It's also interesting when you encounter it 3 times in the same run (true story) and only take it on the 3rd encounter because you're overpowered enough where not seeing your character while fighting Delirium isn't an issue.

Nonetheless, it's an interesting item, but the effect could be "logiced" to the item's appearance on the pedestal.

Suggestions?

- Whatever trap/enemy that looks like a Bomb Dip from Alphabirth, which is causing a problem for players, it needs to be fixed, or it needs to go. Plain and simple.

- The floors, if you decide to do what the Revelations team did, and make them alternate-floors of the originals (which I would recommend), I would strongly recommend putting the door/teleport/portal to go there in the Curse Room (to go along with the Devil's Harvest theme).

- The bugged items could use a lookover, it could be just me, it could be you uploaded the wrong version of the mod-in-development.

- As for my "Miscellaneous Issues" section, you do you, Team Probirth, I was mainly giving my "two cents" in the slight hope that I could influence the next set of tweaks you guys add.

I understand this is a beta release, hence why I gave all the feedback I did on "where to go next", I figure that in the event you guys wanted to "make more of the mod", you might be looking for someone who'll be honest and provide a detailed description of the issues they've encountered.

I'll once again give the Devs of the "Devil's Harvest" mod credit for making an awesome-looking mod, however, just like with an actual game, there's bugs that need to be "hammered out", a few things that could be "done better" (especially with the new APIs out there), and some aethetics (sound) that could be tweaked.

---------------------
Extra note: I did not address the "Pin glitch" due to the fact I didn't encounter it in the whole time I played the mod (which was a couple weeks, I believe). Considering I didn't encounter it, I could not verify if it was "a real thing" and how to re-create it. :/
