The development of the mod has been pretty confusing, and I can say with certainty that practically no English speakers understand anything about the mod or it's intended design, not even huge youtubers, no matter what they say. ...To be direct, this is Arma 3. Single player is a total waste of time. There may be some missions made, but really, again, since these missions are basically just multiplayer missions anyway - you will want to play on a server. ... The final mod will need more players than yourself, trust me, you will want them - and there will need to be active administrators, which - lol - good luck finding any that can be trusted. .... Basically it seems to me you miss the whole point of the mod all together, which, is not surprising. Go to Moddb and look us up, read my articles there. Or - if you don't care enough - that is fine too. This project has no release date and when it is released, likely it will just drop quietly. All the cancer Exile and Altis Life server owners will rip it apart and copy paste it into their servers, and 99% of guys like you will play there anyway - so talking about your player experience here is truely another waste of time. We have a community, it's always been open to westerners, but virtually all western S.T.A.L.K.E.R. and Arma players don't take Stalker seriously because they never tried to. Even less of them know how to role play. They never let themselves explore the world of the games in the way Post-soviet players have. I've been here for 2 and a half years running English PR for this Team, I can say that with confidence.
TL;DR Go to Moddb if you want to read about the mod, or if you don't, wait for some twack half-assed Exile server to crop up using ripped out pieces of this awesome mod.

You seem disgruntled. Also I don't believe I've ever heard of Exile or Altis life til' now. I've also been recently reading up on what I think might be the website, "armstalker.com" it's all in russian, but my computer's at least able to translate it. Mostly been reading the rules too, though I'm having trouble understanding some of the rules, probably due to the translation. I've also yet to try out the Arma 3 multiplayer, really I barely play online that often anyways, I might have to get on that soon probably.

Is there only 1 server, or might there be numerous, maybe taking different angles toward it, like 1 has roleplay, the other just lets players sort things out however way they please?

guys, you all need to calm down, I'm sure when this thing is closer to release people will more than likely offer they're services to translate the mod from russian to american, german, spanish etc just give it some time, and try not to rush them.
