Is autowear gone? And how to clear it?

I have an astolfo PM that is set to autowear, and I want to change it and I can't, same with Autowear not being present. Anyone know what happened?

There's no autowear option or button on the menu.

autowear is definitely still there. It has changed text to the closest translated string in gmod

"Autowear" is called "Make Persistent" now. Hope someone can find out how to disable it.
