Steroid 100% imprint does not Work

Is there a reason that the steroids that you can craft if you kill a darkstar does not give 100 %imprint or do i missunderstood something

If you are on a server that has the dino storage mod then if you put it inside a ball and take it back out it corrects it. Maybe if you don't have the mod try a tek transmitter?

You can also just leave the area (draw distance worked for me) and come back. I teleported to another base and immediately came back and the Imprint was 100%.
