Elementals give crystals. Eternals/alphas/primes and maybe some other ones gives blood/dna/hearts. Keep in mind that if you put a creature asleep, you won't get any loot. If you can't kill something, then put it asleep, get it to very low health, then wait for it to wake up (or use a poison eraser). Then burn the remaining healthbar. This should work to get some loot, but it's not really efficient.

That's kinda dumb not to get loot from an unconscious dino. My highest level tame in my current solo play is a poison ptera... Guess I'll have to look at taming a decent fire elemental one to avoid putting things to sleep then.

Ya. It is a slow start. Once you get a grinder you don't have an issue with Dino blood anymore.

Grind poison spears you find from killing resurrected/alpha/prime dinos. I use the s+ grinder and i get a ton from every spear.

I grinded a bunch of poison spears and all it gave me was 1500 regular pikes :( rip grinder

yeah, its been fixed/changed, you dont even use dino blood to make the poison pike's, just takes a pike, nothing else. that's rip.
