"One of the greatest maps at the time, however it's seen better days..." (Naxela et al 2020)
Introduction

To start, JKR training has been said to be one of the most in depth and well thought out maps in CSGO history, such a map has never been seen since, and will probably not be seen again. In this comment, I will share my liking for the map, but also reference some unfortunate circumstances that have led to the map's downfall in recent years. Lastly, I will reference some things for JKR (peace be upon him) Thus, first I will outline the main features of the old map, and subsequently reference negative changes in the following paragraph, leading to the map's downfall. Thus in turn I will hold the contention that JKR training was better prior to the later 2017 update, and since has not seen the positive accolades that such a map truly deserves.

The old map

The map in its early days consisted of two evenly balanced teams, with an upper level for one team, and a bridge area for the opponent. In addition, there were objects in the middle of the map making for good cover and 'noddy's cave' coined by the community, referencing Noddy Gilmore from a secondary school in Surrey; which was a dark corner in the map. Overall., the map was often referenced as the greatest of all time, something that would hold for months to come, in the words of fans; "JKR training is the only thing I look forward to in my sad lonely life." (Hazmeister, Inspector Kewl, ManicxFamez et al/ 2019).

The new map

On the other hand, in the later updates of 2017, the map took a turn for the worse, team's now had to be limited to 3 on the terrorist side, and 1 on the counter-terrorist side (Naxela 2018) Thus, the map could not be hospitable for the fun 3v3's that many a player used to enjoy. In addition, an extra room was added to the counter-terrorist side, resulting in a vast room that felt empty and draining to players; "I feel alone in this room just like my life" (ManicxFamez 2019). This in turn meant that the fight would likely take place in the counter-terrorist side of the map, due to bad balancing. To add, other features of the map such as the bridge were not utilised to the same extent as prior. Some may argue that the new addition made way for a bigger area of space to work with, making way for more AWP play. However, I argue against this, as the main walls to stop spawn killing of the counter-terrorist side, blocked this level of play anyway.

Conclusion

New updates are required to bring JKR training to the status it once held, even teams, and a movement to the older style of map to result in better balancing is imperative. Thus, in this comment a plea is cast out in order to reform this run-down wonder into the glistening staple it once held in the CSGO community. Therefore, I held the contention that the older map was better made than the new one shown today.
