Rise & Fall makes some Civs unplayable
The loyalty mechanic introduced in Rise & Fall makes Civs like England, Netherlands, and I imagine a few others impossible to play, due to close proximity to other capitals. Atleast, on prince difficulty you cannot survive turn 25 without being automatically defeated. This is specifically on the Giant Earth (180x94) map but obviously it would apply for smaller map sizes.

Oh and I guess since I have you all here, I'll add another bug; If you fail to accumulate enough faith for a pantheon early on in the game, by the time you do gain the requisite faith, you will no longer have any pantheons to choose from. This will freeze the game, perpetually trying to force you to choose a pantheon belief, and being unable to progress from that point. You cannot end your turn and are forced to exit the game.

I came across the same m8. There are Religious mods out there that introduce more options and they are worth a look. I also struggled with England. I played one game where I had all the vanilla Civs and wanted to see if I could knock out Scotland. I managed it once on Prince level but you have to get out military units quick and get archery as that helps.
But I agree it isn't straight forward and I noticed the Netherlands always succumbs to Germany or France.
