Stuck at "Registering ModHandlers" in combination with Shadow's Enhanced Automation

When trying to create a new world with this mod and Shadow's Enhanced Automation[1] enabled, I'm stuck at "Registering ModHandlers". Can you reproduce this? Any idea what might cause this?
