Not changing anything?
So I enabled this mod, started a new game... and nothing at all is different. Everything looks exactly like the base game, every menu is the same. This is my first time trying to use a mod for Banished, am I doing something wrong? I don't have any other mods enabled.

I'm pretty sure it's enabled. I clicked the little X to enable it, and it's highlighted in green, unlike the other mod I've installed that I don't have enabled. Am I doing something wrong?

From your Steam Library, try clicking Play there (instead of using a shortcut). You should get the Banished launcher that asks you if you want to configure options, video settings, or play. Click on Options. There's a checkbox there titled "disable all mods". Make sure it's unchecked.

I figured it out, it turned out Banished itself wasn't updated to the latest version even though I had auto-updates on. Mod's working fine now.

Not working for me either. How did you update the game without the auto-update?

You might try the classic uninstall-and-reinstall. That SHOULD install it as the latest version.
