You should never have to put Haven people into hiding. Assign a Technical with Exo / War Suits to give them an extra rocket and MOST importantly a Battle -Scanner. This will hugely stop Retaliations against that haven but you still get the Infiltrator missions due to the work your scanners do. Any haven ppl over 13 in number will auto Hide. If it says put a scientist in awc then do it. The awc is nothing to do with normal research bit speeds up it's specific purpose
