Corpses?

I need a drone wreck for the robotic research but even though I kill a ton, I never get one. Same for every kind of corpse.
Bug?

Only certain missions give corpses. supply raid, troop column, rendevouz, HQ assault. Maybe a few more, check the ufopedia.
Also, If you kill them with a grenade (injuring is fine), you won't get a corpse

'Full Salvage' missions are often required. I think Spy in the haven missions get you some as well
