blowing up avatar-facility does'nt stop the doom-clock
So this happened to me:

The avatar-pips go full and the doom clock (30 days) shows up.
Get in there, destroy the facility, the clock goes away and there is the known line with the red squares, almost full (one pip remaining).
After 1 day the clock returns. Well, this was to expect.
But only 2 days and a few hours on the clock?? Is that normal?

So i take 3 shinobis and infiltrate a facility at 100%, with 3 hours left on the clock.

I sneak in. I manage to place the c4, of course this soldier dies and another one.
The third manages to escape, i see the building explode, mission is completed.

Back to the geoscape there is still the clock, game over.

Why?

You may of had an extra facility to destroy. You need to constantly go on 'Find A Lead' missions and get them as early as possible. You just left it to late to do anything about. Librerate regions as quickly as poss.

Yes, there is another facility, with 6 pips underneath. But in this region is advent strength 6, can't go in there with 3 shinobis i guess.

I only do'nt understand why destroying an avatar-facility does'bt stop the clock, this must be a bug, no?

Wasn't it vanilla behavior that the clock did not reset, but stop when the doom clock was less than full pips?
So those 30 days on the clock are the only days you're going to get ever. This defeats the gamebreaking mechanism to ignore the clock until 1 day before doomsday, then kill a facility and then have the 30 days again. It makes sure it is always a good idea to raid a facility.

The clock does not reset, it stops. It should start at the point where you stopped it last time. So, don't waste time, when the clock starts running.

Uh.. yeah, this sounds logical to me. Did not knew, thank you!
