That´s not the point. at the moment, the only thing I recall from liberating a region is a bit more supplies and no missions popping up in that region. Advent is still able to infiltrate these regions though, so you are still forced to use one of your soldiers as a commander for that region(sorry, don´t know the term for that since I play on german) because otherwise you cant identify them.
Long war 2 advertises with giving the player choices over which missions he accepts. But if you are forced to invest in certain projects,which popup extremely late,it just feels unfair. If you want to balancemy suggestion, I would say, that losing a region back to advent would increase the progress on the avatar project.
That being said I realize the game is designed to center on small unit combat and not logistics so if the designers say it was designed this way for game balance I'll grumble but play on. There are other areas that are far more illogical than this issue,
I can't remember how it was in vanilla.
Right now i have liberated 1 region and try to reach the region where the first facility is (the other side of the globe).
The avatar-counter has only 4 blank points so i am in a little hurry :-D...
Once i have destroyed this first building, will i find the next?
