Just guessing here but once a Haven has reached 13 members you can no longer assign them. They remain in Hiding.

I'm talking about the entire haven, not just members that might be over 13 in number

Oh you mean there might have been a mission to protect the data and i passed on it ? hmm possible since I upped alotto intel and got so namny missions I never had enough squads to do them all. ty

Is that what happens if you don't protect the listening post?
I have a mission like that just now and dont want do do it. I wondered what happenes if you skip it.

Ok, its exactly that. I knew why I didn't want to play that mission, it was in an advent strebgth 11 region. My "rescue team" got flanked by a pod of 5 heavy mechs while battling a 9 man pod of elite mutons and other nasties while elite stun lancers and soldiers made quick work with my rebels and advisor. Results as I expected: all personnel and my advisor dead, beacon destroyed and 4 important soldiers insured, and I have the "Intel Prohibited" thing in that region. So I guess, question answered. If the mission expires or the beacon is destroyed, it results in intel prohibited.
Also if it expires, all personnel and the advisor are lost.

I hate those missions!
