Long War 2

Some Questions
So I am a big fan of XCom and with everyone talking about Long War I wanted to give it a try.
Unfortunetly I am not one of those sado machoists that love insane difficulties.

So I was hoping if some one can help me out with a few issues.

1. Is there a mod which fixes the sight lines?
I have advent troops able to see me through 2 roofs and shoot guys that would be impossible to see.

Also in concealment mode - seeing me where there is no indicator.

2. Where do I modify settings to deal with mod sizes? I am not a fan of fighting massive pods.

3. What if I ignore a mission. There was one mission that the infiltration time was way 2 low. How bad are the consequences? Or should I just put a max squad inside and try to do it?

==
I love a lot of things long war does - but I hate how they made it so the settings are meant to be for extreme mode.

Rookie is hard enough for anyone in LW2 imo. Do a search with lw2 in the parameter and you will find a sight line fix mod. As for concealment use the 'True Concealment' mod and others. The indicators are the red eyes on the ground and the Light blue concealed icon above the soldiers head. Their is no mod for pod size adjustment. Ignoring a mission only has the consequences of the parameters of the said mission. IE; never avoid resistance attack missions etc. If you find yourself short of a squad and really do not want to miss a particular mission, then you can try going to the squad most infiltrated and Boost their Infil then do the mission. Then take that same squad to the mission you did not want to miss.

Thanks for the reply
I read some where there was a config file in LW2 files that lets you adjust sizes and what not.

Oh? So I should restart as rookie? I choose veteran.
The issue with concealment is there is no red indicator at the spot I was seen. It was just a normal tile, the second I moved on it a hidden pod was shown and they saw my guy.

To make it worse, my guy was on the roof of the building and the pod was 2 floors below.

Get the 'Peak around corners' mod as it helps with concealment too. As for mission infiltration times, anything less than 100% will make the missions harder, which you can counter with a Infil boost or just boost if you need an easier mission

You're supposed to choose what missions you want to do or are able to do. It's not like in vanilla where you do every new missions. Some missions may require big squads, and some others you can just go with a stealth approach with only one soldier ( usually shinobi )

If you are lost you can watch this youtuber, his let's play are pretty good : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mn78E_7ZJes&list=PLkr09O8z61-oQlwmtjnczgQTccjbZP_9n&index=1

Oh I understand, but I am more curious of the consequences of not doing them.

Like in Vanillia you worry about dark events for not doing certain missions and face heavy penalties such as all enemies gain more armor.

If I miss a certain mission - is there any major consequences?

If I don't have time to infiltrate - should I just go in hot? What are the risks I take when I do?
