XCOM 2
Long War 2

Good luck Pavonis!
With only 40 hours of cumulated gameplay, ending up with an unplayable game due to constant crashes, i made this constat:

Unbalanced Mechanics
-Advent troops prefer shooting viper bind and mind control soldiers way too often
-Retaliation missions which seems to appear randomly regardless havens's setup
-Some recently discovered dark events may occurs a few hours after, not letting us a single chance to counter them...
-...Resulting in a too much stacked dark events at same time which force you to skip some missions or loose them...
-...And the vast majority of missions you could get after this doesn't seems to have dark event counter
-Network tower shouldn't benefit from so many reinforcements since advent troops should already be there to protect this crucial zone, they are already busy to keep some other key areas and we take them by surprise
-...Instead, there could be more pods and some hidden strong CEM or Gatekeepers which activate when you are discovered (slightly based on LW1)
-Avatar Project need to be readjusted to be less aggressive in background but more aggressive when discovered
-Timer is a little bit too short or inappropriate in some missions, which often leading us to a "rush and die" mission...
-...Ex: The longer you infiltrate a mission the more you could have a timer bonus to complete a mission
-(Optional)Graze band need to be set at 1 or less in game options since you can see a missing/graze shot at 1 tiles of an enemy twice in a row when you have 98% hit chance
-You don't have enough chances to collect enough ressources to be able to face the growing advent forces and after few months you will end by being overhelmed by them
-The interception mission where you must prevent spy to contact advent is ridiculously easy and have no challenge (interest) compared to others
-How you can miss a rocket shot so badly?? Even with the first skill which giving us having precise rockets it's still unbelievably inaccurate.
I agree this weapon is overpowered and need to be nerfed, but not that way. Instead, i donno, why don't give it a damage malus which occur randomly depending on soldier hit chances?
-Too much missions with a ridiculous amount of infiltration time popping up everytime regardless of haven's intel (and by ridiculous i mean really little amount of time)

Bugs/Errors
-LW is too much memory demanding and accumulate too much datas resulting in multiple different bugs/errors (game logs could be higher than 2Gb): the longer you play the greater are the chances to freeze/crash your game/pc (may damage pc)
-Reloading a save in a middle of a mission may lead to the same result as shown above (is it some kind of anti save-scum? lol)
-The "pure virtual function called" error is one of the possibility resulting from this kind of things
-Infinite reinforcement weirdly occurs in some situations for no legitimate reason and sometimes the script not stopping properly as it should, resulting in the same thing as above
-Sometimes, after taking possession of new DLCs stuff, the next DLCs missions no longer appear
-Some retaliation missions may glitch when you tried to extract more than 9 units at same time in one turn and could crash your game/pc the next turn

Others/Suggestions
-Need more adjustements to make the mod easier to install and less exclusive in its own functionalities
-Some ingame messages should be implemented at specific places to show players what incidences have their actions and to be more clear on what they are doing
ie1: Precise amount of intel/ressources regularly gained to let you better setup havens, probability of bad consequences when you decide to change some jobs for them.
ie2: What really means level of Advent forces in real time for each regions
-Missions with 200% infiltration (except specific story missions) should be near to nonexistent presence of advent and above all, should not benefit from any reinforcements (our efforts must be rewarded)

I'm sure i forgot some of them, but it's the biggest part i remember.

If you have constant crashes there is a conflict within your own system, maybe the gfx card in conflicting with the in-game settings etc. Such as in the Nvidia control panel you have Trilinear Optimization on conflicting with the FXAA on. If so set the first to CLAMP and see if it makes a difference. If ATI card...your on your own

See, this is how you do a complaint post. With actually constructive feedback. +1 good sir

I've already discussed most of these problems in discussions and comments previously, so I'm not going to write a long rebuttal, since this was well written.

I Never had this bug in vanilla though i had reload saves million of times lol. And i highly doubt that there's some intentional bugged mechanics in xcom 2 rofl

[Mode sarcasm On]
Sorry about not letting you show your rage by salting everybody in this thread :D
[Mode Sarcasm Off]

Anyway, it would be more constructive to speak about some of my ideas, don't you think?
