Can't find any alien facilities?
I've been into the beginning of December and I've done the entire codex side of the questline (killed the avatar), and I still have to get to the psi-gate, but I can't seem to find any of the facilities that are slowly building up the avatar project, even though I've contacted the regions it says they are in and I've been doing "Find a lead" missions ever since day one...I've liberated only one region and have radio towers available for another, but I'm wondering, is the stronghold you destroy for liberation the same as the avatar project facilities? Because again, I've still not encountered an alien specificly avatar facilitiy, even after completeting the black site.

you need to research a facility lead. Then contact the region. After that you can blow it to hell
Wait, so it's the same thing as the vanilla version? Wtf I've been skulljacking left and right, taking those intel missions whenever I saw them and still haven't gotten that item yet...For skulljacking my only tier 2 reward is always extensive intel as well.

You can get facility leads from skulljacks as well. I just got one recently through skulljacking a tropper.

This in Long War 2 right???? I never had got that as an option over the 2 dozen times I've attempted in this playthrough... :( Is it a chance it is a facility lead or is it always a lead?

First skulljack I did led to a facility lead. RNG strikes again...

I'm having the same problem. Avatar Project buildings only show up on the ocean. So its all down to Skulljacking is it? Without it I can't complete the Shadow Chamber Projects. The game has been dragging on for ages now lol

Sorry, skullmining, not jacking. You can only skulljack the first commander.

Also, if you're having issues with facility leads via skulljacks (plus loading up all your guys with skulljacks is a waste of space), you have a couple other choices.

Hard way: Do a TON of intel package related missions. One is bound to generate a facility lead. Random...not so much fun.

Easy way: There is a mod that uses your haven recruits to generate facility leads. Very useful. Throw an entire haven on facility leads and you'll have more missions with intel packages (that are directly related to the facility lead) than you know what to do with.

It's just so hard to believe it's been due to RNG that I haven't found it yet, it's as if the item doesn't exist in my game at all...if you know what i feel. I'll check out that mod because those intel package missions haven't seemed to help in the slightest. Thank you.
