Where's the install guide?
I downloaded LW but didn't see where the file was saved. There's nothing in my Steam folder or on Pavonis

If you downloaded it through the the Steam Workshop it will appear in the Mod Launcher.
If you downloaded it elsewhere, you need to put the mod's folder in [YourSteamInstallPath/Steam/SteamApps/common/XCOM2/XComGame/Mods] then it will appear in the Launcher.

...you've found the discussion here. You can literally just click "subscribe to mod" in the Workshop and it does it all automatically for you. Steam's nice that way.

I've never installed a mod through Steam, just through Nexus. Subscribing to LW doesn't seem to have installed the mod as LW doesn't show in my launcher. I also can't find the mod launcher. Be nice if Steam made mod downloads easier to understand.

How can they make it any easier then clicking subscribe and launching the game?

Because I've cliocked Subscribe twice (at different times) and LW still isn't showing when I launch Xcom2...

Perhaps cause it was not downloaded already?
Many ppl have configured their Steam to NOT download as long as any game is running.
Maybe thats an explanation.
So end all games, let Steam download it and it should work ...
