Primeval bosses not spawning

So I finally got the ascension portal today and when I checked the dino scanner about an hour later, I found that the only primevals that could spawn were Primeval DodoRex's and primeval BroodMothers. I don't know if this is something wrong with the dino scanner or the pugnacia mod.
