The pistols upgrade is actually a 2nd weapon, it's another version of the pistoles 3D model, but the 3D model features a attachment on the gun, originally it was to be that the laser, when picked up, would switch the players weapon to the pistol with the laser attached, this as simple as it sounds, its proving to be difficult. And I have been unable to pull it off as of yet, I'm sure I almost got it tho. I just can't say for sure how it's gonna happen when it dose. So with that being said I take it that by you saying the pistols upgrade is not working, you mean, that when you pick up the laser attachment , the pistols in the players hand remains the same. Untill it's sorted out and in the meantime you'll have to manually switch via the weapon wheel to the 2nd pistols weapon, it'll have the upgrade on it.

with the new version of the game the mod isn´t working anymore. will there be a fix or a new version that is running on the newest update of the game ?

This warning makes the mod unplayable. I might be able to fix the error with a text editor, but I'm not the mod author.
