It has the potential to be better or worse, depending on how you have it set up. At default settings it will mostlikly give you somewhere between 200-300% weapon damage, but could go even higher if your lucky.

Upgrade to red -> augment to great stats -> convert to blueprint -> equip your friends. Takes lots of time and resources,though. That's the way i use it, but it's not suitable for some end-game equipment (ie ascendant riot set will require around 10-20k of polymers per piece, and if you don't have stacking mod and insane gathering rates, then, well... But works fine for flak armor.

The ones in drops are too randomized, imho.
