By the way when I check the SKSE version in the game using console it says 1.6.16 which is the latest one so I'm sure it work just fine.

I figured it out, I had to at least run the game one time on steam after that it will download it automatically and then I can always run it using SKSE launcher

I have SKSE on my desktop, but when I start my game I get a msg saying that SKSE isn't running and SkyUI won't work...

you have to run "skse_loader.exe" from your skyrim folder it will then run the game itself

after that you won't get that in the game.
and from now on you have to run the game using the loader not from steam

I am loading it with the nexus mod manager SKSE.exe hell of a lot of BS to get one mod.. LOL

Hi guys - this is not working for me. I'm starting the game with Skyrim (SKSE).exe - when I go into game, I check the inventory, its the default one. I have no idea why this is not working.

after you subscribed to the skiUI it will download it automatically
Then you need to install the SKSE from their website
Then you need to run SKYRIM from the steam once so that steam configures it once and for all
After that you alwasy need to run the game using SKSE_Loader

At me it says Sky UI isn't updated, but I have subscribed here, so normally Sky UI must update automatically. What happened? D:

You're right it should automaticaly update however in the past 2 weeks I have never had an uddate for it and it works flawlessly.
Have you tried uninstalling(Unsubscribe) and Installing (subscribe) again? To see if it works?

Yeah im getting the same issue. I've installed SKSE using the exact instructions in the linked video. I subscribed, and it didnt work when I tried running using SKSE. Then I tried running it once with steam as suggested and then tried it with SKSE again. It still appeared as the default UI. So I tried restarting my computer and repeating the process. That didnt work, so I unsubscribed, re-subscribed, ran the game with steam, then ran it with SKSE. It still doesnt work. Any ideas?

does it say anything when you enter the game or not?
Do you see the tab for the MOD confugeration in the Skyrim pause menu?

The only thing that it says when I enter the game is "Recurve longbows enabled" but I'm pretty sure that's related to another mod. And nope, there's no tab in my pause menu for mod configuration.

I'm pretty positive that the SKSE was not installed properly. You can try to reinstall that using the installer and make sure that it will be installed in the game directory.

I had the same problem. Tried verifying the local files, and then after a while SkyUI showed up in the mod list when launching through Steam. I think I just had the mod list open for a couple of minutes, and then it showed up.
