I;m having the exact same issue. Worked fine last night before i went to bed around midnight then when I got home and loaded it up the vanilla interface comes up.

Ditto on mine. Some people are saying it's skse and not skyui. I don't know what to believe.

I checked skse and i have the latest file, even tried redownloading and updating but same thing,
do you guys notice when it goes throught the subscribed file updates that it doesn't go number by number now it just says like 1 of 17 then done, whereas mine used to go through each numbered item on the splash screen update
i searched net and no other posts for this issue with either skse or skyui
maybe the mod creator can check with steam guys
seems like it happened after i had a bigger steam update

I'm glad it isn't just me. My hair mod is gone as well, and on the splash screen is just went showed 1 4 and 9 and then said mods were up to date. Like it didn't even recognize that I had the others.

yep, mine went from mod 1 to 'finished updating' so i tried to convince the steam support to look into their updater

just got this response from Bethesda tech

Thanks so very much for getting back to us, and I'm afraid that I have to agree with your conjecture. It does look like the Steam update has knocked the mods for the game all out of whack, and many of our fans are experiencing the same issues that you are.

However, there has been some help in identifying that new mods that are subscribed somehow get around this issue. It's possible that if you were to unsubscribe from the ones you have, then resubscribe to them that you could get everything back up and running. Beyond that, I would also recommend messaging Steam Support as they are the only ones who would the ability to perform any needed maintenance on the Workshop or Steam Update platform.

Again, I deeply apologize for any inconvenience that this has caused you, but please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns. Take care and have an awesome rest of your day~!

Also tried reinstalling SKSE - no change.
Saw Bethesda response. Tried uninstalling BOH and reinstalling. No change.

Maybe I stumbled upon something. We've *got* the same problem, SkyUI, SKSE and Unbound are unresponding, and lots of mods are turned off, listed as unsubscribed by the launcher (a clue, since it is usually FANATICAL at turning on mods I've unsubscribed to).. The Raven Witch armor is still there, however - again. Gotta remove that one.

Now I've gone through the regular launcher, activated the mods manually - all there, turned off. Restarted the laucner, and kept watch as it went through the list. Yes, now the mods are still listed as active, if still unsubscribed. I will now try to launch the game through SKSE (which should now be reactivated, "if steam launcher is anything to go by".. which it is not.

BOSS even lists me without any errors -which is sensational, because Hearthfire always was off.

Lelangleng's fix worked just fine for me- definitely seems to be an issue with checking Workshop mods on Steam's part. Hopefully gets resolved soon. It's worth mentioning that all mods I got through te Nexus are working smoothly.
