Actual staff
Woud be funny if there is a slight chance that the magic works and gives random effects to a enemy in front of the player.
Or make that only avalible on full moon and Haloween.

Taunts shouldn't give benefits tbh

Too much of a PTW factor.

You're right, It should just have that random chance for the wand to have magic in it and make a different animation or something.

Actually, It would be hard to hit an enemy with a taunt effect, and if it had a probability to be a good effect, wouldn't be that much of a PTW factor.

You know those spell books that appear on halloween maps? I think it'd be cool if this taunt would just be a flashy way of triggering one of those "spells."

That would be cool. It would be like a taunt kill but it's not P2W since you can activate the spell normally.

Should be a taunt kill, and be really embarrassing if you get killed by it.

I would love a taunt kill for this thing.

But only if the taunt killer has a spell.

AND the spell gets consumed

Yup, also it should be a spell that can kill.

Another idea is that the staff in the taunt becomes an all class melee with its taunt being a chance for a taunt kill using a random spell, but I feel like if that happens it should have an equal chance of it benefiting the enemies by giving them, for example, the uber spell.

I think an all class melee staff would work like this.

= (HALLOWEEN ONLY)
= The spell doesn't effect your teammates, only enemies or you.
+ ALT-FIRE: You can cast any random spell.
= Since the spell can be negative or positive, you could also injure yourself.
= The spell can be positive, not just negative. (This could be bad because you could give your enemy an uber spell)
- Does 15% less damage on normal hit.
- ON SPY: Backstabs do not insta-kill, they only do 10% more damage than a regular knife stab.
- There is a 50% chance for the staff to backfire.

The spy part, would instantly break this, how about if it were to make stats (which it won't I'm just wasting energy) spy would backstab, but leave the enemy with 15 health. Make the 50% chance 35%.
