i have offered this suggestion to the ark devs before and gotten 0 response, i have wanted a tether/leash option for AGES because i like having my rexs/spinos on wander, because defense against wilds, self feeding, and it looks more natural than neat lines of dinos.

Litterally just BAM you can wander 5, 10, 15, 20, 25 foundations away from THIS sign/object/where i gave the command.

I think it's a great idea. I've messed around with it but haven't got it sorted yet. I'll keep trying though.

Was thinking a timer might be simpler. Have it so the post calls a dino to follow it for 5 seconds every 30 seconds to a minute. Dino would then wander around until called back by the post. Though some playing with timing would probably be needed.

Also not to try to overstep, but you don't have any info on modding dino ai, and the follow point mechanics do you? Just started learning the dev kit, but it's always fun to learn avance stuff at the same time.
