I love this, but it will never be added.
Why? Melee weapons. When Tough Break came out, they added skins for the Wrench and the Knife. The unusual effect Energy Orb was not part of the Tough Break crates, because the melee weapons don't have a barrel for the orb to come from.

Unusual effects radiating from the barrel are doomed to never be added, a shame.

Well due to valve not making energy orb for melee's they just removed the effect from the list of unusual weapon effects that can be uncrate which is unfortunate since you can't unbox it anymore but I would've allowed energy orb on the war paint weapons that have a barrel and all the melee's would be left out.

The creator could add an alternative style for melee weapons, where the energy is just wrapping around in a pattern or circle.

Well, Isotope kinda radiates out of the barrels of guns, and also kinda floats up from the top of melee weapons, it's still got a chance

you know they can just make a alt style for melee weapons or is that really hard to code

you know they can just make a alt style for melee weapons or is that really hard to code

Energy orb is one of those effects that is really difficult to put on melee weapons properly due to the way the effect works.
