Actually, the full-auto was on a machine pistol version, not on the original weapon.

We need more SMG's

Thanks dood. This was all based on a C96, didnt really draw reference from anything else. It was a fun thing to model, as it was all very improvised.

I love the look of this, you certainly have done well within the constraints of the TF2 artstyle and animations.

The real C-96 top-fed through stripper clips, though I doubt valve would bother making separate animations with no purpose for 1 weapon. I think your solution of adding a bottom fed clip as in the standard SMG is the most elegant solution.

No the C96 never had a full auto fire mode and was never mag fed. This gun is much closer to the m712 schnellfeuer which had both full auto and a detachable box magazine
