Making the bolts bigger.
So first you need notepad++, search for the Steam workshop folder from Stellaris and the WinRar of this mod.

Open the WinRar and unzip it, start stellaris, make a new mod put the winrar files in that.

Then go to /gfx /models/ combat_items/ search for the .gfx file: _sw_turbolaser_01 open it up with notepadd++ you will then see a codeline with this: scale = 8.5 change that to make them bigger as you like and save it.

You can share that with your friends if you want but i don´t want to see another uploaded mod with these changes, these are easy changes that take 5 min so if you want it, everyone can do it for themself.

Does "_sw_turbolaser_01" replaces all tracers of this mod? like even the blaster or the ion cannons? sorry if too many questions..

the # green and so, tell you what mesh is what color so yeah Ion too, for blaster it is the _sw_blaster_01.gfx file

The modification words! I can see the beautiful blaster tracers.

One last question. what is the "_sw_Superlaser_beam_01"?

Oh, that's sad. Well changing the scale of the blasters works great! But, when in battle and when zooming out to see the whole battle the blaster tracers is not that visible, maybe because I am using Improve Space Battle [Balance/Graphics]?

the base scale in maya for the blaster is smaller then for the others you could also edit the .dds files with paint.net, making the Brightness/ contrast higher.
Can anyone explain where the freak these folders are?? I scoured my computer for 20 minutes and couldn't find them anywhere! They aren't in my gfx folder for Stellaris so I'm clueless...
Nevermind, I found it, for anyone else who is looking it is in steam\steamapps\workshop\content\281990\765938943
where do i find the gfx models file?
How can the AI use these ?
