Rerolling deletes all starter items?
Lost all the starter items when i tried to reroll..i got a nice map now just no food, weapons, materials etc so i have to restart any ways. Is this normal or did i miss something? Cause if you have to restart any ways then what is the point?

having the same issue. i tried loading as much as possible onto my colonists/my animals. i was lucky to start with a horse and a donkey

Edit: did you install the mod AFTER the map you wanted to reroll got generated by the game or afterwards?

I found out why it happend, or i assume its what was wrong. If the pods crashes to the ground you lose anything you would have started with when you reroll as those resources does not respawn. That is my guess as it seems to work now as long as i save the game instantly and quickly pause the game before rerolling the map.

my theory was that it only works when the mod was enabled when you start the scenario and the first map gets generated

I had the same issue with tribal start. All the supplies, including the pets, were gone upon generating and entering a new map. Used development tools to regain my supplies as a temporary fix.

I think it depends on whether or not your transport pods have dumped their contents or not.

Actually I saved, restarted the game, restored, and the pods haven't landed yet but I still get jipped on my starting gear, also the pods don't even land.

I think this is a bug.

Its an older mod so it has issues. I suggest using character editor mod to backup your toons and load them in manually once you select a favorite map.
