In regards to the issue of items not being able to be extracted from the drill. would it be possible to change it from acting as an assembler, to some sort of storage. also if it were to place its items into the output area instead of the input that would also make it very easy to automate. however that might be easier done with a two block system, where the drill gathers up gravel and an additional block is used to turn that gravel into ores.

the nature of it allowing you to choose what resources you want to have from the gravel roots itself in being an assembler

I have no modding exp so I trust that you have tried your options and would thumbs up your comment if I knew how

Is it possible to remake this mod into one that checks for ore types within say 150m and only generates those ores?

Is it possible to get a slower, more storage restricted (10000 instead of 100000) version of this which only generates stone without an assembly tab and sorters can pull out of? I use Splitse's adjustment for the basic refinery which seems like it has a more balanced stone to ore ratio.

I think it may be able to turn gravel into stone, because some other mods require stone to build or assemble something

i don't know any buildings requiring stone except survival kit
you have something specific in mind?

any possible way to ban it from creating a specific type of ore? like i dont want players to be able to get uranium out of it bu want them to get iron and gold from the drill

only way user can change the mod is either if mod author makes it configurable
or by becoming a mod author
