Revolutions
Incorporating Revolutions into a Scenario
First off, I want to say that Gedemon, your mods are incredible--if you aren't already working professionally in game design, you should be. That being said, I'm just starting to design some of my own concepts. I wanted to start with a scenario that would begin in the Renaissance era and then, due to use of certain mods and initial setup, more or less mimic history without user interference. Then the player could feel as though his/her actions were actually changing history, to some extent. In order for this to work (since the colonial empires must fall), it's almost certain that I will need the revolutions effect. However, since it is not possible to load scenarios in the custom advanced setup screen, I am wondering what I would need to do to make this scenario possible. I'm not sure if there is a reasonable way to do this, but any advice at all would be much appreciated--the potential for really great scenarios using revolutions as a historical feature is just so promising. Thanks in advance, and I apologize if this wasn't the correct place to be posting this.

The custom setup mod is used to set up a higher number of CS than needed before launching the game, to reserve them for revolutions during the game.

You can do that in the scenario setup screen, you better fully incorporate this mod in your scenario to handle the "reservation" of the right CS (leaving alone the ones you need for the scenario) when the game is launched the first time (this mod pick them randomly)

I'm sorry that I can't be more specific, it's been a long time since I've coded this.

Just a suggestion, if you know how to compile a mod, you may want to use the unreleased version of my DLL that include Revolution & Cultural Diffusion in a single package, much faster in late game: https://github.com/Gedemon/Civ5-RED-DLL-BNW-Build

Wow, thanks a bunch. Hopefully I can get it working, it would be a very good tool for historical scenarios. What game have you been modding recently?

Still on Civ5, but one mod at a time. On WWII ATM and for at least a few months.

Now, I am having a problem, and sorry if I am in any way disrespectful in the hasty matter of failing to take my time and read what you put to help, but I want to play the New World Deluxe Scenario with all the mods, to experiment with colonies breaking from mother countries, all seems to be fine, however, I did not get the advanced setup screen (which I don't see why it is a problem), I did get Cultural Diffusion to work its hover message data stuff, but I could not see data for revolution stability. Any advice?
