Here is a list of planned features for the IIC - Old Republic Ships mod

  • Hanger Forcefields
  • Adding a third corvette which will function as a escort carrier (through mid game research)

could you add the stargate textures as well there are nice mods for eaw which could assist to get the textures

Will you strive to have the textures generally 'within reason' match? As having different tones of red on each ship is kind of...well it looks odd for a military. I understand your using textures from a wide range of sources but just some coloration on adobe could fix part of that issue. Plus some of the textures are very sharp which looks kind of off when compared to the original Swtor textures.

@Space_Void That would depends on a model to model case, we are definitly aiming for the SWTOR Thranta version of the paint style. We have recently already updated the 2 strike craft with proper paint jobs and the next 2 models will most likely be the preatorian and the frontier. some ships like the zenith have already had thier textures updated so its unlikely that will get the orange color before all the other models have had thier buggy textures fixed.

New Ship Classes & More v2.0 Support
I've been thinking about supporting this mod for a while but have decided to wait for Stellaris 1.3 and see what kind of changes that update brings to ship design first.

That part make me really sad knowing 1.3 is due in 2 more month...

@Gyn Steel, The thing is. if i were to start supporting New Ship Classes & More v2.0 now i'd have to pretty much redo all my models with weapon locations and stuff. since ill also have to do this for 1.3 because of the new weapon types i figured it be best to do it all at once instead of having to do it all twice.

@Star Chaser As i've said before in the comments, I couldnt find a proper role within the mod for the Dynamic-class Freighter (Ebon Hawk) So i will probably add it as an event unit in an anomaly or event. That will however be a while since im fist going to pilish this mod and release the sith units.

ISB support wouldn't be that difficult since you'd only be doing the Titan-- all other ISB ships use their own new models. If you have time, it'd be appreciated, even if it's just an upscaled battleship.

@pilatian I dont use ISB myself and when looking at the page im never realy sure what it adds and what is part of other mods in the series. But atm im focusing on Old Republic Stations and Sith Empire ships. Once i've got those released ill have a closer look at ISB

Basically the titan is just a larger battleship. It's the only part of ISB that should be in any way relevant to IIC. The rest of what the various modules add are doomsday weapons, graphical changes, and balance changes. Not much relevant to IIC, should be less work than New Ships when you get around to it. Can't really use this mod with ISB or any other mod that adds ships til that's in, though, since it'll just give an error model without even a backup set.

Personally I would remove the Defender-class Science Ship and replace it with the Ebon Hawk. Sure the Defender has nice textures, but it feels like it sticks out and doesn't really blend in that well due to its size compared to things like frigates at the like. I donno that just my personal preferance speaking.

Speaking of scale, thats something I've noticed the scales of models seem to be slightly off at some points. Corvettes seem to be super small when compared to cruisers when if you remember the corvettes in swtor were pretty much a similar size to the hammerhead class. Meh just throwing it out there.
