I cant find the containers???

There is no research related to the buildings - you can find them in the Furniture Menu only if you have manually installed the b19 version (only if you use b19) from one of the maintainers at:

https://github.com/DoctorVanGogh/ExtendedStorage/releases

I have to install a b19 version manually even though the steam version is updated for 1.0?

@spudsioux No - use the current r1.0 version here on Steam for the r1.0 version of Rimworld (I've updated my reply above to avoid confusion)
