Ropes for inventory (no more magic rappelling)
Your addon is great, we use it a lot, just like Advanced Rapelling. But for me they have a major flaw. It does not require any object in inventory. That makes it possible to rappel at any time, as if we were always carrying the heavy ropes. For me this is a lack of important realism.
I think the best thing would be to create an object that we had to put in inventory, to be able to use the ropes.
You can put an option for the editor, which allows the use of ropes without an object, if you want to maintain this functionality, but by default, you need the ropes in the inventory.

Yes agree completely. Rappel ropes should be one and done. And there should be a time duration to set up ropes (or at least an option for that). Very cool mod, and these changes would definitely make them more realistic. Thanks for making these mods and good luck.

Is there a way to have this in a mission only & not as a permanent addon running all the time.

Definitely a needed addition. Being able to just instantly rappel anywhere with no equipment is too unrealistic.
