way to disable jumpscares?
here is an menu where i can disable jumpscare when he got me i love this mod but hate the jumpscares (im dont play soma)

I also don't play or even own SOMA. I honestly don't like the flashing pictures either, I know there from the game this is from but they are disturbing and innapropriate. I'm trying to make a collection for surviving in mazes but I don't like the pictures one bit, but then again, the SOMA styled death goes great with the Borderlands New-U station (No, I don't play Borderlands either).

What is it? (If it is something you have to download on a website then it's a good thing that you don't trust it, but if it is something you can do in the game without any 3rd party product then it should be fine)

I think that should be fine, you are not downloading something off a suspicious site, you should be okay unless someone is tricking you into reprograming the console so that you can't use it anymore or to make weird things happen. Look at the command to make sure it won't mess up your game, you don't have to understand code to understand some commands before you use them.

If it is in the description for this addon then it should be fine. It probably does work. It's from the addon developer, after all.

Unless it's from a developer of a different addon, but devious or malicious people really have no need to give console commands that do nothing just to troll people, they would probably do something worse. I'm pretty sure that it's legit.

The command works. The command for disabling jumpscares is "cl_disable_soma_deathscreen 1" (without quotations), if you want to enable jumpscares again then you type the same thing but you replace 1 with 0.
