Bugs/ General improvements?
Alright, this dicsussion is for potental bugs/ exploits and just general thoughts on the map (since there somehow isn't one yet, apart the airspace discussion)
I've been playing around on the map a bit, and noticed a few things:
  • There is bit of texture missing by the kill trigger (off the cliff) on the ocean side of both spawns. In addition, the flowing water texture (by the missing texture) doesn't wrap along the edge of the cliff
  • The red 'battlements' sign on the ocean side of the map appears to have a blue sheen. I can't quite tell if its a texture or lighting bug, but might be worth looking at.
  • If you rocket jump near the point on the mountain side of the map, it is possible to see through to the skybox under the map
There are also a few potential gameplay issues; these aren't necessarily problems, but they stuck out to me when I was playing on the map:
The aforementioned airspace issue, there's already a discussion on that so I won't say anything here
The map feels tight. Its likely that Pyros would have a advantage, as they would be able to round a corner and easily trap an enemy in a small passageway just about anywhere. Any good map has some places like that, and it isn't a bad thing as maps do need to be balanced for all classes, but I feel like this map has too much close space.
Similarly, this map might prove challenging for snipers. There are only a few sniper spots, and only one of them gives a nice view. Obviousy snipers shoudln't be allowed to dominate the map, but I am also worried that they won't have enough space for the most part here.
Finally, the little dip on the ocean side on the point- this one is a bit tricky. Fundamentally there is nothing wrong with it, but I found that soldiers can just barely shoot out and down at the point from it. A good soldier would be able to jump and clear the point from the cover of the dip.
I haven't seen any servers running the map yet, but I believe it would be beneficial for these to be tested in actual gameplay. Beyond that, great map! It's very well polished, and I certainly would love to see it get added to the game :D
If anyone else finds anything, whether bugs or actual exploits, put it down below and hopefully this map will eventually be added(?)

-and yes I've seen the whole 'is it overwatch" thing; I'm hoping to try to avoid that here haha-
