First, I'd like to say how much I enjoy this game. I really appreciate the design, the game mechanics, the animations, the saving/loading system, the character customization feature, the sound effects, and just how CLEAN and SMOOTH this game runs, especially on my "potato clock" (A.K.A. really basic computer). It's amazing how much effort you put into this, and when I'm playing it, it's worth every second of my time.
Having said this, I've wanted to become a video game designer myself for a while, and I think GameMaker: Studio is a good place to start. The thing is, I'm new to programming and sprites and bullets whizzing past and shooting up zombies into a million pieces and all that, and so I was wondering if you could give me a few pointers when you had the chance. Not too much, just some tips and tricks into coding a masterpiece like Zed Survival. I was going to ask for the project file itself (so I could take notes), but don't want you to think I was going to reskin/pirate/steal Zed Survival. I'm not a genius, but I'm not stupid either...
Or a thief...
Thanks for reading this, and I hope Zed Survival gets better and better through all the hard work you put into it.

P.S. So this “story mode” is gonna involve TIME TRAVEL?!
AWESOME!!!
Now although I have been using Game Maker for about 10 years now, I wouldn't consider myself very good at it. My coding is very messy and is probably not the best for tutorials, but I'm sure it could help with some things :)
I can upload and send you the project file soon, when I get time.
Send me a friend request if you want to remind me (bed time for me now). ;)
And yeah, I am pretty sure I want to include Time Travel in the game, Medieval ages, zombies in knight armor, crossbows and all that good stuff. Futuristic era too. Still working on the storyline and how it's going to work but you could probably dig up some stuff from the project file lol. :D
