Road to 56 Compatibility

Hey i was wondering if there is a way to get this compatible with road to 56. I tried activating both, but all the pertraits disapeared. any advise?

I don't get portraits disappearing, but I get the occasional game crash. I'm not even 100% sure if it's this mod.
