The himmalayas/Gobi desert should also be no mans land
Unless it's the Punic wars i doubt that large armies would be able to pass mountains

100% upvote. The air zone called "himelayas" and the "northern himelayas" (I think it's called?) would be perfect to make unoccupyable.
