Bioshock Model Requests And Gmod Information
If there is a particular model you would like to see, from any of the Bioshock games, please request it here. I do not have much time for porting models at this point, but I will keep an eye on this thread and work on the models whenever I can.


Keep in mind that I will not port my models to Garry's Mod, but if someone wishes to port them on my behalf, I urge them to contact me. I would prefer my model-ports not be ported without explicit permission from me, however, I do want the maximum amount of people to have access to them. So if you know how to port models into Gmod, and wish to do so, comment here as well.

Hello, I'm currently working on a map for Garry's Mod of Bioshock 2's "Journey to the Surface"[bioshock.wikia.com] ride in Rapture Amusements. I'm using the Umodel[www.gildor.org] tool to extract the models. So far I've ported the basic track and cart props and loaded them into a map, finding them to be quite larger than Source's player dimensions.

Did you shrink your tunnel models at all after extraction, and if so, to what scale ratio?

I didn't, as I didn't want to risk damaging the models. I doubt it would have done so, but I prefer to be safe with porting.

Other people, however, have suggested approximately 45% for models from Bioshock 2.

You're welcome, and I hope it works out. Also, when you're done with the map, would you maybe be willing to port it over to Source Filmmaker? We really need more Bioshock-themed maps.

Sure! Depends how complete this map feels though.
